It's that time of year again - the time where the temperature drops drastically. With this drop in temperature also comes increased wind. This combination makes for a very cold playground at recess. Please, please, please send your Firstie to school with a hat and gloves every day. If, in the off chance that it is warm enough that they aren't necessary we won't make them wear them. We have a very limited supply of extras here at school and today we didn't have enough for all of the children who needed them. In addition, it is very helpful if your child's gear is labeled with their name. I can't even begin to tell you the number of gloves, hats, coats, ski pants, etc that float around this school lost and unclaimed. Thanks for your help!
