We had an amazing time on our river field trip with the Fairbanks Museum. Leila and Bobby from the Fairbanks Museum met us at Nat Tripp's property where we got to explore the river and all the life surrounding it. We used nets and containers to catch and look at creatures up close. Before we left, we returned all the life back to their natural habitats. We saw fiddleheads, wild strawberries, animal tracks, spiders, dragonflies, tadpoles, snails, and even a salamander. Today was full of fun and adventure - I bet everyone sleeps well tonight!
