Our Winter Wellness field trip to the Aquatic Center has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 13th. Please remember that this in an all day event.  Your Kinder needs to bring a bathing suit, and towel.  S/he may also bring their own life jacket if they wish, but they do have them available at the Aquatic Center.  If you previously filled out a form for a bagged lunch from the cafeteria there is no need to fill out another one - a lunch will be packed for your Kinder.  If you would like to order a school lunch for your Kinder and need a form please let me know ASAP.

Friday was such an incredible day in our classroom that we had to end it with a dance party! ❤️

Last week our Superkids taught us about being in a marching band, and the many different instruments band members play. We are so lucky to have our very own band (a few of them actually) here at Danville School, and we took a field trip upstairs to check them out in action. Their next concert is Monday, February 12th at 6:30pm. You and your Kinder should check them out - they’re amazing!

I’m taking this ice day to do some blog updates! In math we’ve been learning about different types of measurement - length, height, weight, capacity, and area. All of this leads up to measuring and comparing numbers, and soon...addition and subtraction!

We are so fortunate to be able to have 3 Winter Wellness field trips this year!  We enjoyed our first one this past Tuesday when we visited Kingdom Gymnastics.  We all had a great time, tried some new things, believed in ourselves, and kept trying even when things were tricky.  

Here's a belated slideshow of our amazing trip to the Montshire Museum!  We had a great time exploring and learning about magnetic force.
