Yup! It's the end of the school year, we can be funny, while still doing our work. Adding funny glasses to the read with someone totes is a cause for lots of giggles.

So much more than naming teen numbers. Kinders separate 10 and some more. They count using the Say Ten way: ten 1, ten 2, ten 3 and so on. Students hear the separation of the 10 ones and some ones as they count, solidifying their understanding as they also return to the rote counting: eleven, twelve, thirteen,... etc. Then we just has some exercising fun playing Teen Twister!  The bikes are back at Danville School! Kinders got to ride the bikes today! FUN!!!!! We are thankful for Mr. Robbins' help.  We have math talks about math strategies to solve problems, reading strategies to decode and comprehend a book. What about a strategy in checkers? Actually watching the moves of your opponent and then making your move.  |
