We have very exciting news in First Grade...We're hatching chicks! We are studying how animals survive, grow and meet their needs and comparing it to how humans do the same. We've already had some great discussions and we are all really excited about our learning. On Friday morning we placed our eggs in the incubator to keep them warm - be sure to ask your Firstie how warm the incubator needs to be. They've been diligently watching the temperature to ensure that our chicks are getting the best possible care. It will take approximately 21 days for our chicks to hatch and we will be counting down and anxiously awaiting their arrival. Over the next 21 days your Firstie will have lots to tell you about this project.
